In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I used to write songs for my school choir back in high school and it was absolutely magical. I was always blown away by how much my songs resonated with people and now, being able to write songs more frequently makes me very happy to be doing this. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ed Sheeran, x (Deluxe Edition) Justin Bieber, Purpose ZAYN, Icarus Falls These are my favorite artists in the world. I have drawn inspiration from them at different points during my journey as a singer/songwriter. These 3 albums always hit the spot for me. Tell us why you chose this song. “Conversations” Since becoming a part of the music ecosystem, I have been criticized and insulted a couple of times. So many people believe they know me better than me. I wrote this song to address the feeling of inadequacy that I felt the day I wrote this song. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable moment for me so far in my career was the day I released my debut album. I thought to myself "little old jessie from nowhere has a global body of work" and I just keep riding on the feeling that I have done something great! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There is so much left for me to do and I am super excited to check them off my bucket list. However I am a big believer in the natural progression of things. So no matter how much I look forward to these things, I still find purpose in the process.
