Enbound

A melodic power metal unit based out of Borås, Linköping, Sweden, Enbound was founded in 2006 by Mike Cameron Force, who had previously played with popular neoclassical metal outfits Poem and Zonata. Force spent some years assembling the group, eventually settling on bassist Swede Odén, guitarist Marvin Flowberg, and powerhouse vocalist Lars Säfsund, the latter of whom found fame via the AOR/melodic rock band Work of Art. The band's 2011 debut album, And She Says Gold, drew acclaim both at home and abroad, drawing comparisons to bands like Rhapsody, Epica, and Kamelot. 2016 saw the band issue their sophomore studio long-player, The Blackened Heart, which featured guest appearances by vocalist Linnéa Wikström (Kamelot, Therion) and Symphony X bassist Mike LePond. ~ James Christopher Monger
