About Gloria Aura

The daughter of local actress Gloria Mayo and composer/producer Kiko Campos, Mexican teen pop sensation Gloria Aura got involved in entertainment while participating in a children-oriented TV show called La Hora de los Chavos. She was soon named a spokesperson for UNICEF. After signing with BMG, Mariano Pérez produced her self-titled debut album, which climbed the Mexican charts with a song called "Soy Tu Mal," composed by Oscar Botella. In 2001, Gloria Aura had the opportunity to open for the popular act OV7 while the group was touring around the country. ~ Drago Bonacich
