In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memories date back to when I was six years old. My first-grade teacher gave me a flutophone. I was thrilled and began wildly playing along with half the other children in the class. It was total musical chaos but we loved it. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Al Di Meola, Elegant Gypsy Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin (Remastered) ZZ Top, Tres Hombres These three albums influenced my early development playing the guitar. I learned from Billy Gibbons, Jimmy Page, and Al Di Meola by copying their licks and playing their songs live. I spent many hours listening and learning from these three, yes sir. Tell us why you chose this song. “We Can Make It” This song is special to me because the bass lays down the groove with the drums while also providing the rhythm for the solo instruments. I also am particularly fond of the saxophone solos for their simplicity but effectiveness. Feels like dancing!
