Willie Nelson's gentle, weathered voice has always been perfect for duets. No one knew this better than Waylon Jennings, whose rich baritone accompanied Willie to the steel-guitar utopia of "Luckenbach, Texas" and on honky-tonk stompers like "Good Hearted Woman". But plenty of younger artists have realised this too: On "Beer for My Horses", Toby Keith deputises Nelson for a country-rock posse.
