Ween Essentials

Ween Essentials

Talented and stylistically adept, Ween never took themselves or anything else too seriously. Formed in 1984, the duo produced a multitude of home recordings and several self-released albums before signing to Twin/Tone Records in 1990. 1992's Pure Guava was the band's first album on a major label, and they hopscotched genres for the remainder of the decade with the R&B-influenced Chocolate and Cheese, 12 Country Golden Greats and the mock-progressive The Mollusk. Ween parted ways with their label Elektra in 2000 and folded in 2012.
