Warp Records: Essential Listening

Since 1989, Sheffield's Warp Records has been synonymous with cerebral, progressive electronic music. Their early rave, techno and IDM sides enjoyed success, but it was trailblazing acts like Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada and Autechre that cemented their rep. More pop-oriented acts like Broadcast and Grizzly Bear have expanded the label's sonic worldview.
