He worked alongside Hans Zimmer on projects like 2013’s Man of Steel, bringing electronic textures to the master’s symphonic thrum. Solo, he has translated techno’s intensity to Deadpool’s spine-tingling synths and conjured Brimstone’s ambient orchestral dread. But he really outdid himself on 2015’s thrilling Mad Max: Fury Road, whose speaker-busting din is on par with the eye-popping visuals.
