By the time Tiana Major9 released her 2019 debut EP, Rehearsal @ NINE, the London-raised singer-songwriter had amassed a local following. Her collaboration that year with EARTHGANG, “Collide”, announced her arrival on the international stage, with the song appearing on the Queen & Slim film soundtrack and earning a Grammy nomination. The British-Jamaican artist, born Tiana Thomas-Ambersley in 1995, creates intimate meditations on love with a voice that is as clear as it is tender. On the sunny “Think About You (Notion Mix)”, from 2020’s At Sixes And Sevens EP, she wishes for more hours in the day, and on "Try Peace…", from 2022's Fool Me Once, she surrenders bad habits atop gentle drums. Tiana’s evolving, soulful fusion of jazz, R&B, reggae and hip-hop has attracted collaborators in Stormzy, Lucky Daye, Ayra Starr, SiR and more.
