Despite debuting in the '80s, it was the new millennium that saw Steve Earle indulge his creative whims. An accomplished country singer/songwriter, he made moves into the acting and writing worlds while also penning the political protest album Jerusalem. He also snagged the theme song to the final season of HBO's acclaimed crime drama The Wire.
