Sonic Youth: The Later Years

Over the course of their tenure on DGC Records, Sonic Youth proved that bands could still record and release challenging, experimental rock with major-label backing. Back on the indie scene, the band's own SYR imprint was the home for the most uncompromising material of their entire career, often leaving rock behind entirely for purely modern sound art.
