The song was his first single, “Swing”, which appeared in the 2007 Judd Apatow film Knocked Up and won listeners over with its crunching beat, brusque rapping style and steamy let's-get-this-party-started atmosphere. For “Moonshine” he teamed up with Akon, who brought his trademark Auto-Tuned croon to the party, adding some slinkiness to Savage's swagger.
