Raekwon got his start in the game on the Wu-Tang Clan's rugged 1993 debut album, but it was his own Only Built 4 Cuban Linx… project in '95 that outlined his magnetism on the mic. Forming a tight rhyming relationship with Ghostface Killah, Rae recast the Clan as mafia figures and brought listeners into a dusky and evocative crime world with his vivid raps and flashy slang. With that album certified as a classic of the era, Rae's since gone on to release a stream of projects that solidify his status as a true boss in the hip-hop world.
