Peter Murphy: Next Steps

After Bauhaus split in 1983, Peter Murphy went solo, leaving his goth past behind for greener pastures while the remainder of the band formed Love & Rockets. Without losing his former outfit's dark edge, Murphy spent the second half of the '80s exploring everything from new wave to the polyrhythms of world music, before achieving solo success in the early '90s.
