Oren Ambarchi Essentials

Oren Ambarchi began his career as a drummer, but is best known for his large discography of music made using guitar. The Sydney-born artist pushes the boundaries of ambience and tonality as far as he and his instrument can take it, ranging from harsh noise to more meditative, complex compositions. Like most improvisational performers, Ambarchi has collaborated with a wide variety of like-minded artists, including Sunn O))), Jim O'Rourke, Keith Rowe and Johan Berthling.
