We looked into Kurt Cobain's creative impulses and traced a potential solo career. Cobain was on a path toward acoustic music, saving his voice by dialling back his trademark growl. His non-linear lyricism would have likely shied from singer/songwriter tropes, and anything jammy. He would have escaped the mainstream into quiet, raw and personal music.
