Nek Essentials

Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Filippo “Nek” Neviani won international recognition in competition at ‘97's San Remo Music Festival. Although his entry only managed 7th place, it emerged as the biggest chart success of that year's event, driving sales of his LP Lei, gli amici e tutto il resto through the stratosphere. The album was certified platinum six times over, and although it still stands as Nek's commercial peak, he has maintained his popularity over 11 more full-length releases, including 2015's Prima di parlare.
