Motown: The '60s

Motown was the most successful label in America throughout the 1960s, popularising soul and R&B from Stevie Wonder, The Jackson 5, The Supremes and many more, and landing nearly 80 songs in the Top 10. The small regional indie transformed into a dominant national brand and became the soundtrack to the civil rights movement.
