Lee Hazlewood Essentials

Producer/performer Lee Hazlewood's maverick vision and eclectic recordings earned him a cult following with fans and artists alike. The former disc jockey began recording tracks in the mid-'50s and scored a slew of chart smashes with guitarist Duane Eddy. A decade later, he teamed with Nancy Sinatra for some of her biggest hits and two highly romanticised LPs. Hazlewood left America for Sweden in the early-‘70s and retired soon after, but his '60s efforts found a new audience with performers like Nick Cave. He issued a final album in 2006 shortly before his death the following year.
