Krokus Essentials

Why Tipper Gore and the PMRC didn't go after Krokus is one of the great unsolved mysteries of the '80s. On heavy metal's sleaze-o-meter, the Swiss act notch a higher score than even Mötley Crüe. Impressive! When Bon Scott clone Marc Storace (that's a huge compliment, by the way) isn't professing the band's undying devotion to rock 'n' roll, he's dishing out the gory details on all-night sexcapades with midnite maniacs. The band definitely prays at the church of loud, fast and hard. No need for ballads; they're stupid. Interesting factoid: Krokus started life as prog nerds. So weird.
