Founded in the city of Durban in the mid-‘90s, the large ensemble have forged an immediately recognisable style by infusing pieces such as “Modimo Ke Lerato” and the dynamic “Itshokwadi” with punchy vocal arrangements and fizzy, jazz-kissed rhythms that reflect their South African heritage.
