John Coltrane: With Miles Davis

In 1955, John Coltrane joined Miles Davis in what became known as the trumpeter's First Great Quintet. Together they produced seven full studio albums, including 1959's epochal Kind of Blue. It was a run that revived Davis's career, commercially and artistically, and from lush ballads to swinging jams, this collection features some of the most innovative and beautiful music in jazz history.
