

Two electronic architects from the Blue Mountains planted a milestone on our sonic highway when HyperParadise won the eighth annual Australian Music Prize in 2012. In a historically beer-fisted rock nation, Hermitude's progressive scratch-funk sojourn sealed a late-blooming revolution with taste, skill and panoramic vision. Luke "Dubs" Dubber and Angus "Elgusto" Stewart had been dreaming it up since the late '90s, mixing with the likes of Urthboy on the Herd's Oz hip-hop label, Elefant Tracks.
