Heltah Skeltah helped the Duck Down family establish themselves as grimy heroes of the New York City '90s scene. Consisting of Rock and Ruck (who would later switch his name to Sean Price), the duo's debut album, Nocturnal, showcased the rappers' rugged flows and smart punchlines over dusty production courtesy of Da Beatminerz. 1998's Magnum Force was headed up by the feisty single "I Ain't Havin That", but despite that being a well-received track the group went on hiatus soon after its release. A return in 2008 for D.I.R.T. solidified their standing in the game.
