Formed in 2004, Hale broke into the Original Pilipino Music scene with radiant pop-rock and heartfelt songwriting. A string of nimble English and Tagalog hits became staples on the radio, with ballads like “The Day You Said Goodnight” and “Kahit Pa” chiming perfectly with the emotions of lovelorn listeners. Internal issues lead to a 2010 hiatus but a 2015 reunion showed that they hadn’t lost their touch, continuing to release uber-catchy songs with real romantic yearning.
