Great British Dance: '00s

The faceless dance boffins had to stand aside in the ‘00s while charismatic stars from Moloko to Goldfrapp, Faithless to Gorillaz, gave the British dance scene a shot of glamour, wit and imagination. Dizzee Rascal went techno (“Dance Wiv Me”), Basement Jaxx went punk rock (“Where's Your Head At”) and the Artful Dodger introduced Craig David to the world (“Re-Rewind”).
