Between founding The International Submarine Band and The Flying Burrito Brothers and contributing to The Byrds' Sweetheart of the Rodeo, Gram Parsons did more to shape alt-country by the age of 23 than anyone else did their entire lives. Unfortunately, he only lived to 26. But these tunes from before he even started his celebrated solo career contain a lifetime of emotion and then some.
