Family Tree: Miles Davis

During his almost five decades on stage, Miles Davis worked with several musicians who were—or would become—as lauded as himself. He collaborated with greats like Bill Evans and John Coltrane in the ‘50s, while his Second Great Quintet of the early ‘60s featured Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter. Davis' fusion work even involved the Weather Report and The Mahavishnu Orchestra.
