Isidro Chávez Espinoza—better known as singer-songwriter Espinoza Paz—began writing songs as a teenager before establishing his professional career as a hitmaker for himself and other artists. His big break came when Sinaloan banda singer El Coyote turned several of his songs into hits. Paz continued to pen songs for other regional artists, including Jenni Rivera, Calibre 50 and La Arrolladora Banda el Limón, while also enjoying a remarkably popular singing career, with three consecutive No. 1 albums on the Billboard Regional Mexican charts between 2009 and 2011.
