Eric Clapton: Solo in the '70s

After earning his stripes throughout the ‘60s with bands like The Yardbirds, Cream, Blind Faith, and Derek and The Dominos, Clapton finally released an album of his own in 1970. Though his landmark self-titled debut remained steeped in the traditional blues that had informed his career thus far, his horizons would expand over the next decade, blowing fans away with his reggae and folk influences.
