Curren$y Essentials

Curren$y's laidback and carefree attitude doesn't quite reflect his remarkable hustle. He first gained attention as a member of hip-hop crew 504 Boyz's second lineup, releasing two albums with them. After dropping almost a dozen mixtapes, he finally released his independent solo debut, ironically titled This Ain't No Mixtape, before his critically acclaimed commercial debut Pilot Talk—the first in a series of releases. He now operates his own record label—Jet Life Recordings—and is known for his collaborative projects with Wiz Khalifa, The Alchemist and his own Jet Life crew.
