Pennsylvania native Bugz Ronin built a following thanks to his connection with Lil Uzi Vert, who fell in love with the producer’s futuristic-sounding, neon-tinged beats. The two linked up for Uzi’s 2020 LP Eternal Atake, with Ronin creating the intoxicating instrumental galaxies for “Baby Pluto”, “Lo Mein” and more. He turned this success into work with Chief Keef & Zaytoven and Young Stoner Life & Young Thug, bringing some of his spacey, trap-inspired beats to rap’s heaviest hitters.
