Boulez and Stravinsky

The music of Stravinsky, a truly international composer, runs like a thread through Pierre Boulez's conducting career, and he left a magnificent recorded legacy. Listening to Boulez's Stravinsky recordings feels like being that but closer to the music--there's no ego on display here, rather a devotion to the letter and spirit of the score that just leaps off the page.
