Cologne duo Piet Blank and Jaspa Jones have earned a reputation as one of Germany’s most prolific and revered electronic exports. First teaming up in the thick of the mid-‘90s house scene, they’ve gone on to run the stylistic gamut. Their productions slalom between the pulsating techno of “The Hardest Heart”, the chilled downtempo of “Happiness” and the blissed-out, ‘80s-referencing pop of “Sunny (Summer Vibe Mix)”. They’ve collaborated with the likes of The Cure’s Robert Smith, Anne Clark, the Pet Shop Boys and Claudia Brücken—and continue to write their own thrilling rule book.
