Best of Tempa

The formation of London label Tempa in '99 would prove to be an auspicious moment in the history of dubstep. Early releases by artists like Horsepower Productions were lumped in with U.K. garage, but their reggae-influenced grooves would sound prototypical of dubstep just a few years later. In the mid '00s, hits from Skream and Benga & Coki placed Tempa at the front of dubstep's mainstream push.
