Best of Dead Oceans Records

A sister label to Secretly Canadian and Jagjaguwar minted in 2007, Dead Oceans hit the ground running, issuing classic albums by Dirty Projectors and Phosphorescent in their first year. Since then, the label has turned out a host of critically-acclaimed records, from indie heavy-hitters like The Tallest Man on Earth, Bear in Heaven and Akron/Family, to cult acts like ambient vocalist Julianna Barwick and fuzzy garage-rockers Bleached.
