Best of '90s Indie Pop, Vol. 2

Indie pop took a backseat throughout the first half of the '90s as grunge, alt-rock and Britpop crossed over, dominating independent music circles with their loud, macho sounds. By the middle of the decade, however, acts like The Magnetic Fields, Belle & Sebastian and Saint Etienne had succeeded in carving out a softer, sweeter slice of the music world for themselves.
