Best of '90s Emo

In the '90s, the scream-your-heart-out sound of emo exploded in the punk rock underground. Of course, many of era's biggest “emo” bands were just as likely to be described as post-hardcore, indie rock or pop-punk. But, from catchy icons like The Promise Ring and The Get Up Kids, to passionate cult faves like Still Life and Mineral, these '90s emo heroes brought a new intensity and sincerity to punk.
