Beastie Boys: MCA's Best

MCA, one-third of the Beastie Boys, passed away from cancer in 2012. But his brash voice is still with us, courtesy of mid-'80s rhyme-trading tracks like "Hold It Now, Hit It". His raspier vocals stood out on the tumbling pop-culture bouillabaisse of "Shadrach", while his line on the flute-driven funk of "Sure Shot"—"the disrespect to women has got to be through"—signaled the group's '90s maturation.
