A self-driven and empowering rapper who, by her debut album Una Seria (2013) had gained a solid following, Baby K soon transformed into one of Italian pop’s biggest hit machines. Her sophomore effort Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2015) was a poppier affair, sealing her success with multi-platinum single “Roma-Bangkok”, a moombahton-fuelled collab with singer/songwriter Giusy Ferreri. Exploring dance-pop, Latin trap and reggaeton, Baby K also teamed up with the likes of Latin pop star Andrés Dvicio in following LP Icona (2018), further expanding her domination from the streets to the clubs.
