Australia's Post-Punk Revival

Post-punk is alive and well in Australia, though it's become so diversified that it can be hard to recognise. You may expect the Joy Divisioned darkness of Buzz Kull and Gold Class, but at the opposite pole is Twerps' bratty jangle. The fertile field in between spans cerebral synth-pop (Total Control, Multiple Man), angsty anthems (Mere Women, Deep Heat) and even sun-warped dub (Absolute Boys).
