Familiar ballads by the likes of Every Little Thing and Seiko Ishii popped up, but so did both Eurodance from TRF and Shibuya-kei courtesy Flipper's Guitar. A wide range of Western acts even got play, including country-tinged pop from The Carpenters and piano slow burners from the great Diana Ross.
