With Missy Elliott helping out on writing and production duties, the Las Vegas-based 702's 1996 debut album shot to gold status. Powered by hip-hop-influenced tracks, the trio's penchant for singing sassy and self-assured lyrics carried over to 1999's self-titled follow-up—a record that was propelled to platinum heights by the crossover anthem “Where My Girls At?” A third album, Star, dropped in 2003, this time featuring a guest turn from Pharrell Williams on its lead track, “I Still Love You”.
