Vida Miknevičiūtė

The expertise of soprano Vida Miknevičiūtė extends from operetta to the operas of Wagner. She was trained in Eastern and Western Europe and enjoys a flourishing career across both regions. Miknevičiūtė was a member of the International Opera Studio at the Zürich Opera House in Switzerland from 2005 to 2007 and began to attract guest engagements in Switzerland and France during this period. She moved to the International Opera Studio of the Hamburg State Opera in Germany from 2008 to 2010, singing a wide range of roles from operas by Rameau, Mozart, Donizetti, Bizet, and two of Wagner's Ring cycle operas. Miknevičiūtė was a cast member at Germany's State Theater of Mainz from 2011 to 2020. In 2020, she made her recording debut on the album Arias by tenor Jonathan Tetelman. In 2024, Miknevičiūtė appeared with violinist Gidon Kremer on the album Songs of Fate.
