Founded in 1996, Two Way Radio formed to try their hand at a melodic brand of alternative rock. Consisting of guitarist Paul Vinyl, bassist Brian Templeton, drummer Mark Adams, and lead singer Brett, the band toured around the California coast for the good part of four years developing their sound. They managed to license their music to various film and television projects before finally recording their debut album, 2001's Bad Transistor. ~ Bradley Torreano
