Ruck Rover

The date: 1996. The scenario: After the demise Stanley Paulzen's band Tlot Tlot and Rob Clarkson's solo career falling through, the two of them decided to brush off their guitars and start a band of their own. However, the plans of actually starting a new project would be just for the next two years before recruiting bassist Michael Allen and drummer Thomas Jackson; hence Ruck Rover was born. With their own brand of power-pop and simplistic songs about gambling, girls, driving and the ocean would make up their self-titled 6 song EP released in 1999. ~ Mike DaRonco
