In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories was watching my aunt play guitar every evening when I was growing up in Australia. I thought she was so cool and wanted to do it too, so I bought my first guitar from a flea market and began to learn chords. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? FKA twigs, CAPRISONGS Fleetwood Mac, Fleetwood Mac (Deluxe) Radiohead, In Rainbows My dad's favourite band of all time is Fleetwood Mac. I grew up listening to their music. FKA Twigs has been one of my favourite artists for a few years, and I love her lyricism in this album. Radiohead doesn't need an explanation; it's Radiohead. Tell us why you chose this song. “Woulds & Shoulds” My dad is an amazing writer, and he had been encouraging me for months to write a song based on the saying "woulds and shoulds", which he had told me since I was a little girl. It's about doing the opposite of what people tell you to do. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I really loved performing for a few months along the Gold Coast of Australia back in 2021 and 2022. I opened for a few big artists and played a couple of open mics. The gigs were so intimate and lighthearted, and I met some really great people. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to continue writing songs with interesting lyrics and storylines, with new characters and experiences.
