In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was handed a guitar by my aunt when I was nine and she told me to "give it a strum." I couldn't play anything for the life of me, though the idea of being able to perform with an instrument on a stage immediately remained in my imagination. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? FKA twigs, CAPRISONGS Natalie Merchant, Leave Your Sleep Sabrina Claudio, Archives & Lullabies CAPRISONGS is a masterpiece that I have had on repeat since I first streamed it. My father would play Leave Your Sleep when I was a child so I cherish it. I adore the entire Archives & Lullabies album, though Homegirl has my heart in a chokehold. Tell us why you chose this song. “To Be In Your Life - Intro (Intro)” To Be In Your Life - Intro is a love song from someone who simply craves to be present in another's inner circle. They find comfort in being within the person's inner circle, so they are begging to remain there if that person will allow them to. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing live in general is the most memorable thing in my career thus far. Releasing music online is definitely a beautiful privilege, but sharing it to an audience is the most divine feeling I've ever known. Every performance has my heart. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? One of the biggest things I am working towards accomplishing is going on tour. Specifically around the Australian and American East Coasts. Another would be to collaborate with a few artists who I find immense influence from.
