When OAG unveiled their self-described “‘60s crunchy pop fuzz” in 1994 with Old Automatic Garage, the band jolted Malaysian music while certifying them as the band of their generation. Leading the pack of English-language acts from the Positive Tone era, they were one of the few to cross over to the bigger market. Frontman Radhi has changed the alt-rock band’s line-up over the years since, but the fuzzy guitars and lyrical whimsy remain intact.
