About Nicolas Cavallier

Nicolas Cavallier is an emerging young French baritone at the turn of the millenium, with appearances in major French and Belgian opera houses as well as a part in a Gramophone Award winning recording. He has sung at both the Bastille and Garnier operas in Paris, as well as Metz, Liège, Reims, and Marseille. He has sung in the Baroque operas Les Indes galantes and Ariodante (the Gramophone Award winning recording, Nicholas McGegan conducting), as Mustafa in L'Italiana in Algeri, Lord Sidney in Il viaggo a Reims, Escamillo in Carmen, Figaro in Le nozze di Figaro, and the Sultan of Khaïtan in Marouf, Cobbler of Cairo, and as the four villains (Lindorf, Coppélius, Dapertutto, and Dr. Miracle) in Offenbach's The Tales of Hoffmann.
