Mum's The Word

Mum's the Word, aka Todd Mumford, was a prolific producer, remixer, and solo artist in the underground Los Angeles rap and hip-hop scene. Mumford founded the company Concentrated Entertainment with Mong Chan, remixing and producing work by such artists as Dr. OOP, Kombo, Kazi, and LMNO. In the late '90s, Mumford released his first solo album, The People Mover. After producing and engineering the Murs album Murs Rules the World, Mumford split with partner Chan and formed the label Smoggy Day Recordings. His follow-up album, People Keep Movin', was released in 2002, followed by the instrumental album Texture. ~ Chris True
